PEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT COURSE

The Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course is designed for pediatricians, emergency physicians, family physicians, mid-levels, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies.

 

*Prerequisites: Current CPR Card & Pretest must be completed

 

*Initial Course 16 hours- recommended for those not familiar with ECG's, algorithms, and pharmacology.

 

*Renewal Course 8 hours- recommended for providers who are already certified but in need of re-certification conducted on the second day of class.

 

*The text book for this class is MANDATORY.
